The Yard Board
Who is in which box, and who is out in which field.
Set your boxes and your fields up once and then just point horses at them. The board shows your whole yard at a glance, grouped however you think about it, by building or by paddock, and it tells you when a barn is full before you promise somebody a stable. Say once that two horses do not get on, and the board blocks the pairing with the reason. Your grooms see the same warning on the horse itself, so the person leading it to the gate knows without having to ask.

Hand a horse over the right way, with the trail that proves it.
When a horse changes hands, do it properly. Sell to an outside buyer, transfer to another Horsebook member with the payment confirmed on both sides, or send a horse out for care, training or lease while you keep ownership. A paid lease builds a signable agreement you and the lessee both e-sign, with a signed copy each of you keeps. The horse's passport and documents travel with it, your private health log stays with you, the yard's day-to-day stays behind, and every change is written into a clear ownership history. Horsebook never touches the money. It keeps the paper trail.

A yard's insurance, a rider's memberships and sponsor contracts, a coach's certifications, a journalist's drafts and media kit. It is the private cabinet for all of it: My Records on a rider or professional profile, Our Records on a stable. It is also where your own paperwork lands when a horse leaves: whatever you chose to keep at the point of sale moves in here, still tagged with the horse it came from, so it outlives the sale and cannot be deleted by the new owner.
